UN-Habitat
Monceyf Fadili has significant experience in the fields of urban development and poverty alleviation. Since 2001, Monceyf has served as the UN-Habitat Representative in Morocco, coordinating the local Agenda 21 program in Agadir, Marrakech, and Meknès. Prior to this role, Monceyf was a National Coordinator for UNDP from 1997 to 2001, focusing on poverty reduction initiatives in urban and peri-urban areas of Casablanca, Marrakech, and Tanger. Additional experience includes serving as a Mission Officer at the Ministry of Habitat from 1994 to 1996 and as Secretary of the Permanent NGO Committee at UNESCO from 1983 to 1993. Monceyf holds an Architecture degree from the Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts and a Doctorate in Geography of Planning from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
