Saman Ahsan is an experienced professional in gender equality and women's empowerment, currently serving as the Portfolio Manager for Ending Violence Against Women, Governance, and Human Rights at UN Women Pakistan since April 2018. Ahsan has a diverse background, including a consultancy role for the Kashf School Sarmaya Program and leadership as Executive Director of Girls Action Foundation in Canada, where program development for girls and young women's empowerment was spearheaded.
