Susana Camacho Vivar is a highly experienced consultant and program manager specializing in women's empowerment, peace, and humanitarian support. Currently serving as a Reporting, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Consultant for UN Women, Susana works on a project aimed at empowering women for sustainable peace across multiple Southeast Asian nations. Previously, Susana held significant roles at UNHCR, where responsibilities included managing humanitarian assistance for refugees, overseeing a substantial budget, and coordinating with numerous NGOs. Additionally, Susana has contributed to various UN agencies and initiatives focusing on gender-based violence, strategic planning, and capacity building in Timor-Leste, demonstrating a strong commitment to promoting gender equality and social cohesion. Susana holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics, an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Women's Studies from Florida International University.
