Susanna Arru

Susanna Arru is an experienced professional in the fields of project management and economic empowerment, currently serving as a UN DESA Fellow - Programme Analyst focusing on Women Economic Empowerment at UN Women since April 2024. Prior roles include Tender Manager in the Green Unit and Junior Tender Manager at IBF International Consulting, as well as Junior Project Officer at ARS Progetti S.p.A. and Assistant Project Manager at the Istituto di Studi Superiori sulla Donna, where contributions included business development and project monitoring. Susanna has a robust background in managing EU and international projects, researching European and Erasmus+ initiatives at Caritas Internationalis, and supporting agricultural activities as an Agro-import intern. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Economics for Development from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Università di Trento.
