Wanjuhi Njoroge

Wanjuhi Njoroge is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in youth empowerment, sustainable development, and communication. Currently serving as the Kenya Representative on the East and Southern Africa Region Youth Steering Committee for UN Women and as a Board Member of the UNDP Kenya Youth Sounding Board, Wanjuhi is dedicated to nurturing autonomy and responsibility among young people. As the Founder and Lead Consultant at People Planet Africa and the Founder & CEO of Rooted, Wanjuhi focuses on sustainable development initiatives and transforming rural communities through ICT and mentorship. Additional roles include being a Vital Voices Fellow, Global Shaper associated with the World Economic Forum, and past Committee Member of the Nyeri County Affirmative Action Social Development Funds. Wanjuhi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Communication from the University of Nairobi and a diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University.
