UN Youth Australia
Akib Ahmed is an experienced customer service representative at Datacom since December 2023 and a dedicated facilitator for UN Youth Australia since November 2021, holding Working with Children’s Check accreditation in Victoria and South Australia. In addition to serving as a National Education Committee member and 2022 Crisis Point Convenor, Akib has taken on leadership roles as Vice President and Events Coordinator for AU eSports Incorporated from July 2022 to July 2024, and worked as a shift manager and crew member at McDonald's from November 2020 to December 2023. Akib has also contributed to Brunswick Secondary College as a STEAM representative and gained hands-on experience as a student researcher at the Gene Technology Access Centre and through work experience at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Currently, Akib is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Adelaide, with anticipated completion in 2025, following the Victorian Certificate of Education obtained from Brunswick Secondary College in 2021.
