Ruby Abercromby is an accomplished leader and educator currently serving as the New South Wales President of UN Youth Australia, where oversight of the executive and engagement with external stakeholders is a primary focus. With a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, Ruby also holds the role of Queer Officer, supporting LGBTQ+ volunteers and students. Previous positions include Director of Operations and NSW Voice Convenor, where significant contributions were made to organize events for over 800 students and manage public speaking competitions. Additionally, Ruby has experience as an Academic Tutor at Better Tuition Academy, utilizing neuroaffirming practices, and has held a leadership role at NumberWorks'nWords as a Senior Tutor. Ruby is pursuing a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Secondary) in History and English at the University of Sydney.
