Hari Prasath Palani

Hari Prasath Palani has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Hari Prasath is currently working as an Associate Research Scientist at Northeastern University's Roux Institute since November 2021. Before this, they founded and served as the CEO of UNAR Labs starting from February 2019.

In 2011, Hari Prasath Palani worked as a User Experience Researcher at both The Virtual Environment and Multimodal Interaction Laboratory and University of Maine. At the University of Maine, they also worked as a Research Assistant, where they developed and evaluated non-visual interfaces for visually-impaired individuals using touch screen devices.

In 2015, Hari Prasath Palani served as a User Experience Research Intern at IDEXX Laboratories, contributing to the development of integrated and unified product ecosystems for veterinary diagnostics and information management.

Earlier in their career, Hari Prasath Palani worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini India Pvt Ltd, specializing in usability and functional testing for Discover Banking solutions. Hari Prasath was also a Technical Support Executive at Sutherland Global Services, providing virus removal services for McAfee Antivirus customers and working as a designing head and co-editor of the official journal of the Virus Removal team.

With their broad experience in research, entrepreneurship, software engineering, and technical support, Hari Prasath Palani has developed a strong foundation in user experience and multidimensional problem-solving.

Hari Prasath Palani has an extensive education history in the field of spatial informatics. Hari Prasath obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Spatial Informatics from the University of Maine between 2014 and 2018. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed a Master of Science - MS degree in Spatial Informatics at the same university from 2011 to 2013.

Before pursuing their higher studies in the United States, Hari Prasath Palani completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Geo-Informatics from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai. Hari Prasath graduated from this program between 2005 and 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Hari Prasath Palani has also acquired several certifications. Hari Prasath obtained a certification in Design Thinking: Data Intelligence from LinkedIn in April 2020.
