Rowan Gaffney

Rowan Gaffney is a skilled software engineer currently serving as Software Engineer III at UNAVCO since September 2021. Prior to this role, Rowan worked as a Remote Sensing Specialist at the US Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service from October 2016 to September 2021. Rowan's earlier experience includes a position as Staff Geologist/Hydrologist at Itasca Denver, Inc from November 2010 to July 2014. Rowan holds a Master's degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Nevada, Reno, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Cornell University, completed from 2005 to 2009.
