Vasco Pedro

Vasco Pedro is the co-founder and CEO of Unbabel, a startup that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide translation services. Vasco has a long history of working in tech, including stints at Beta-i, Google, Siemens Medical Solutions, and Carnegie Mellon University. Vasco has also been a mentor at The Founder Institute.

Vasco Pedro's educational career began with a licentiate from the University of Lisbon in Language and Knowledge Engineering. Vasco then went on to obtain a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University in the same field. Finally, they completed their PhD at Carnegie Mellon University in Language Technologies.
