Christine Burns

Christine Burns is an experienced professional with a strong background in equality and diversity, historical research, and consultancy. As a commissioned author at Unbound.com since 2017, Christine is developing a unique historical anthology focused on the history of transgender people in Britain. Prior to this, extensive experience includes roles such as Director at Plain Sense Ltd, where strategic consultancy and training on equality issues were provided, and as Equality and Diversity Programme Manager for NHS Northwest. Christine has contributed significantly to various initiatives in the field of diversity and inclusion, including serving as Vice President of Press for Change and as a council member for Liberty. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Computer Operating Systems Portability and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
