Saba Salman is an experienced writer and editor specializing in social affairs, human rights, and social injustice. Currently serving as a writer for the Guardian Group since 2003, Saba has contributed features and comment pieces while also editing the weekly Society section. As an author and editor at Unbound.com since 2017, Saba developed and launched the crowdfunding campaign for "Made Possible," which highlights success stories of learning disabled individuals. Additionally, Saba is a freelance writer for Byline Times and The Independent, providing opinion columns and features. With a background in content and communications consultancy for various voluntary and public sector organizations since 2003, Saba has produced a diverse range of content. Saba also launched The Social Issue blog in 2010 focusing on impactful social projects and previously served as blog editor for VODG. Saba's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Royal Holloway, University of London, and training from the Journalism Training Centre in London.
