Rick Beddard

Rick Beddard has over 30 years of professional experience in software engineering, development, and architecture. Rick began their career in 1988 as a Missle Facilities Specialist in the United States Air Force (USAF). In 1994, they joined ManTech International as a Systems Analyst, where they were promoted to Technical Lead and offered a supervisor position. In 1998, they joined Platinum Technology (acquired by Computer Associates) as a Programmer and excelled at understanding product concepts, code, UI, and goals. In 1999, they were promoted to Manager, Software Engineering at CA Technologies, where they provided technical leadership and thought leadership across organizations. In 2012, they were promoted to Software Architect at CA Technologies. In 2014, they joined Unboxed Technology as Director of Software Engineering, Software Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they provided technical leadership and expertise, led a team of three engineers, and architected and implemented solutions across all tiers.

Rick Beddard received their B.S. in Computer Science & Mathematics from Fairmont State University between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Community College of the Air Force, Chanute AFB (CCAF) from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Mechanical and Electrical Technologies.
