Alicia Diggs is a seasoned professional in public health and community engagement, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at the UNC Chapel Hill Center for AIDS Research since September 2020. In this role, Alicia collaborates with community-based organizations to foster equitable relationships and advance HIV/AIDS research applications. As the North Carolina State Lead for Positive Women’s Network-USA since 2015, Alicia empowers women living with HIV through leadership development and advocacy. Additionally, Alicia is the CEO and Founder of I Will Live, which promotes health education and resource sharing. With extensive experience in various advocacy and support roles, including positions at SisterLove, Inc. and Positive Wellness Alliance, Alicia has built a strong foundation in public health advocacy, education, and leadership. Alicia holds a Doctor of Public Health Education degree from Capella University and has a background in social work.
