Emmy Womble

Emmy Womble, M.Ed., currently serves as the Assistant Director for Student Involvement at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a position commenced in June 2023. Previously, Emmy held the role of Graduate Assistant for Student Activities at the University of Georgia from August 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included co-advising the University Union Student Programming Board, cultivating relationships with vendors, and facilitating student leadership training. Emmy's experience also encompasses a NODA internship at Florida State University, focusing on coordinating orientation programs and leading a team of Orientation Leaders, as well as various leadership roles at Christopher Newport University, including University Fellow for the President's Leadership Program and Student Director of Orientation. Emmy earned a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in Cellular, Molecular & Physiological Biology from Christopher Newport University.
