Joe Bost

Joe Bost currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Chancellor for External Relations & Partnerships at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Joe held various leadership positions at the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance from April 2017 to May 2025, including Chief Advocacy Officer, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, and Vice President of State and Regional Policy. Experience in government includes serving as a Regional Representative and Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives from December 2012 to April 2017, as well as acting as Campaign Manager and Deputy Campaign Manager for McHenry for Congress in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Joe Bost holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Lenoir-Rhyne University and a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University.
