Mary Dare Martin

Mary Dare Martin currently serves as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications and Social Media Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since June 2022. Prior to this role, Mary held the position of Digital Media Coordinator at Scarlet Street from July 2021 to September 2023. Mary has extensive experience in higher education, having worked as the Student Program Manager for the MBA Program Office and Assistant Recruiter for the Executive Education Admissions Office at Georgetown University from June 2019 to March 2022. Earlier roles include a courier position at Nicholls & Crampton, PA and various journalistic roles at Technician, including News Editor, Assistant News Editor, and Correspondent. Mary began professional endeavors as an intern at Elizabeth Bradley Designs Inc. Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies with minors in English and Journalism from North Carolina State University and completed a Bootcamp Certification in Digital Marketing at the same institution in 2022.
