Meg Kimmel

Meg Kimmel serves as President of Kimmel Communications since July 2015 and holds the position of Senior Director of Academic Communications at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since June 2021. With extensive experience in higher education communications and marketing, Kimmel has worked with various institutions on strategic initiatives, including VP/CCO searches and content production. Previous roles include Associate Vice President for Communications at Bates College and several positions at Davidson College, including Senior Creative Adviser, where Kimmel directed communications and managed the college's first comprehensive campaign. Kimmel began a career in community relations at WDAV - Classical Public Radio. Educational credentials include degrees from Davidson College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
