Ben Mathew

Ben Mathew serves as the CFO of UNC REX Healthcare and the CFO for the Triangle East Region at UNC Health, overseeing a $2.2 billion healthcare system comprising over 900 beds. With extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, Ben previously held the role of Vice President of Corporate Finance, managing a $6 billion system and serving as CFO of Shared Services. Prior positions at UNC REX Healthcare include Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, where responsibilities encompassed operating budget management, financial reporting, and business plan development. Ben began his career in healthcare finance at Automated Health Systems and has also contributed consulting expertise as an MBA Business Consultant at SBTDC. Ben holds an MBA in Finance from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Clarks Summit University.
