Christopher Childers

Christopher Childers, MD, currently serves as a Diagnostic Radiology Resident Physician at UNC Health since July 2023. Previously, Christopher completed a General Surgery Internship at Carilion Clinic from July 2022 to June 2023 and conducted medical research at the Therapeutic Ultrasound and Noninvasive Therapies Laboratory, focusing on ultrasound histotripsy for catheter-related issues. Earlier experience includes roles as an EMT-Basic with CARY AREA EMS and an Intern Laboratory Technician at Galaxy Diagnostics, Inc., contributing to diagnostic efforts for infections. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
