John Underwood

John Underwood is an experienced Applications Developer at UNC Health since November 2003, specializing in deployments using Ansible and Docker within Linux environments, as well as the development of Grails and Java web applications integrated with SQL databases and various authentication methods. Prior roles include Software Developer at Rho, Inc., where John developed JavaServer Pages for secure document access, Software Engineer at Technauts Inc., focusing on web-based configurations of Linux and Solaris systems, and Software Engineer at IBM, where responsibilities included GUI design for a build management tool. John holds an MS in Computer Science from Clemson University and a BS in Computer Science and Philosophy from Emory University.
