Katie Eimers

Chief System Initiatives Officer at UNC Health

Katie Eimers serves as the Chief System Initiatives Officer (CSIO) for UNC Health Care. In this role, she leads strategic support and alignment of initiatives and communications by the CEO/Dean and other key leaders. Katie joined UNC in 2011 as Vice Chair of Strategic Initiatives in the Department of Pediatrics, and in 2017 she became the Associate Dean for Administration, overseeing the School of Medicine’s offices of Human Resources, Information Technology and Space Planning.

Katie came to UNC Health Care from Duke University School of Medicine where she served as division administrator for Pediatric Allergy & Immunology as well as Pediatric Pulmonology.
