Michael Sledge

Michael Sledge has extensive experience in financial leadership roles within the healthcare and technology sectors. Serving as Chief Financial Officer for Duke Clinical Research Institute and Duke Translational Medicine Institute from 2006 to 2016, Michael facilitated key financial and compliance functions for the Duke University School of Medicine. Michael's experience includes a significant role as Chief Financial Officer and VP at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and as VP of Clinical Research Operations at UNC Health. Michael has held various other positions, such as Controller at BTI Systems and Controller/Director of Finance at ClinTrials Skåne AB, where responsibilities included financial reporting and budget preparation. Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Michael has co-founded PivotBridge Partners and served as a Consultant at EY, focusing on Sarbanes-Oxley engagements and auditing. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Barton College.
