Jill Schaeffer M.d.

Jill Schaeffer M.D. has had an extensive and diverse work experience in the medical field. Jill is currently serving as the Executive Medical Director at UNC Physicians Network since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Duke Primary Care as the Practice Medical Director from January 2017 to September 2021. Before their role at Duke Primary Care, they were associated with Duke University Health System as an Internal Medicine specialist from July 2016 to September 2021. Their earlier experience includes working at the Cleveland Clinic as the Medical Director from November 2014 to July 2016, and as an Internal Medicine Physician from May 2001 to July 2016. Jill began their medical career as an Internal Medicine Resident at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, where they worked from June 1995 to May 1998.

Jill Schaeffer M.D. obtained their medical degree from the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at The University of Toledo. In addition, they hold a certification in Internal Medicine from the ABIM Foundation.
