Grant Gavranovic has extensive work experience in the field of sales and solution development in the life sciences and chemicals industries. Grant has held various positions in multiple companies throughout their career.
Starting in 2000, Grant worked as an Intern at Conoco Inc, where they gained experience in natural gas and gas products. In 2001, they interned at Shell Chemical Company, focusing on chemical process development.
From 2001 to 2006, Grant worked as a Research Assistant at the Dept. of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University.
In 2006, Grant joined Symyx Technologies as a Staff Scientist, designing and testing automated laboratory workflows for various industries. Grant eventually became a Senior Staff Scientist and a Group Leader, managing teams and leading research projects.
In 2010, Grant joined Freeslate Inc. as a Group Leader, responsible for delivering laboratory workflows and leading research projects. Grant later became a Workflow Architect and then a Director, overseeing solution development and sales efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Finally, Grant joined Unchained Labs in 2016, starting as the Director of Asia Sales. Grant managed the distribution network and marketing plan for the Asia-Pacific region, including overseeing a sales team in Shanghai. Grant then progressed to Director of Field Applications and Senior Director of Workflow Sales before assuming their current role as VP of Workflow Sales.
Grant Gavranovic completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2001. Grant then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, which they completed in 2003. Grant continued their studies at Stanford and earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2006.
