Alan Bone

Alan Bone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational management and product development. Currently serving as the Product Manager for Student Information Systems at Uncommon Schools since July 2019, Alan previously held the role of Director of Student Services at Westside Community Schools from July 2011 to June 2019, where a $2.5 million budget and eight direct reports were managed, alongside significant cost-saving initiatives. Alan has also contributed as a PowerSchool System Administrator and as an Adjunct Instructor in English at both Metropolitan Community College and Dana College. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an endorsement in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with focuses in English and History from Lamar University.
