Geovante Crawford

Geovante Crawford currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Lift Up Lab Inc. and has held various roles at Uncommon Schools since July 2019, including STEM Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, Principal Fellow, and High School Science Teacher. Previous experience includes positions at Pine Dentistry & Braces as Orthodontic Team Manager, Spencer Dental and Dental Braces as Expanded Services Scheduling Coordinator, and as an Adjunct Professor of Science at Virginia Union University. Geovante's earlier roles encompass sales at Nordstrom, food and beverage management at Cinemark, and a Graduate Assistant position at Hampton University Cancer Research Center, where multiple laboratory techniques and data analysis were performed. Geovante holds a Master's Degree in Biology and a Master's in Adolescent Education from Hampton University and Relay Graduate School of Education, respectively, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Hampton University.
