Jody-Anne Jones

Jody-Anne Jones currently serves as the Senior Director of School Support at Uncommon Schools since June 2021 and is also an Adjunct Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education since June 2017. Jones has an extensive background in education, having been the Principal at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark from July 2013 to June 2021, and serving as the Curriculum Lead for the Rutgers Future Scholars Program from July 2011 to August 2013. Previous roles include Dean of Students and Curriculum, as well as History Teacher at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark from August 2006 to 2012, and an internship at UNESCO in June 2006. Jody-Anne Jones holds a Master's degree in Africana Studies from Cornell University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Relay Graduate School of Education, along with a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.
