Christopher Kummer

Christopher Kummer, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA), established in August 2004, which focuses on enhancing knowledge and outcomes in mergers, acquisitions, and alliances. Kummer also serves as a Director at Change Institute and as the Founder of the GCC Board Directors Institute, alongside holding memberships with the Singapore Institute of Directors and UNCTAD as a Research Partner. With extensive experience as a speaker at international conferences on M&A since 2000, Kummer has shared insights on various aspects of M&A and business strategies. Furthermore, Kummer held academic positions as an Affiliate Faculty at Harvard Business School and as a Professor for Business & Management at IUBH University of Applied Sciences, with a background in finance and management education. Kummer earned a PhD in Business Administration from Technische Universität Berlin and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, along with training in strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management.
