Richard Bolwijn

Richard Bolwijn has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Richard started their career as a researcher at UNCTAD in 1994 and then moved to KPMG Consulting in London as a Senior Consultant in 1998. In 2001, they joined KPMG Advisory in Milan as a Senior Manager and later transitioned to McKinsey & Company in 2007, where they served as an Engagement Manager until 2010. Richard returned to UNCTAD in 2010 as an Economist and eventually took on the roles of Head of Business Facilitation and Director of Investment Research.

Richard Bolwijn earned a Master's degree in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi in 1997. Prior to that, they attended the University of Groningen from 1988 to 1994, where they received a Drs degree in International Relations. Their education history also includes studying at St Maartenscollege from 1985 to 1988, although the degree name and field of study for this period are not provided.
