David Mautz is currently the Chair of the Department of Accountancy and Business Law at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. They previously served as the Director of the Master of Science in Accountancy Program from 2013 to 2014 and have been an Associate Professor at UNC Wilmington since 2007. David earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where they also completed a Master of Accountancy. Their academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting, from Oklahoma State University.
