Dawn Carter

Dawn Carter is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and strategic planning within educational institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington since February 2016, Dawn has cultivated a robust background through similar roles at Cape Fear Academy, Good Shepherd Center, and Ridgecroft School. Notably, at Cape Fear Academy, Dawn established a major gifts program that secured the largest donation since 2008, while at Good Shepherd Center, fundraising efforts led to a 25% increase in donations.
