Frank Brinkley

Frank Brinkley, MBA, currently serves as the Chief of Police at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this, Frank held the role of Chief of Police at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from September 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing law enforcement and public safety services, along with establishing a division for physical security technologies. Frank's extensive experience spans nearly 15 years at North Carolina State University, where key roles included Major of the Support Services Division and Major of the Field Operations Division, managing a range of operations including crime prevention, community outreach, and investigations. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University and various law enforcement certifications. Additionally, Frank has participated in significant dignitary protection details and served on various committees aimed at enhancing campus safety and support systems.
