Miles Lackey

Miles Lackey serves as the Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington since April 2018. In addition to this role, Miles has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Village Inn Pizza Parlors since January 2012. Previous positions include Chief of Staff at Auburn University and Iowa State University, as well as Director of the Office of Federal Affairs and Director of the Office of Federal Relations at the University of North Carolina institutions. Miles gained initial experience as a Legislative Aide with the Office of United States Senator Elizabeth Dole. Educational qualifications include an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
