Peter Difiore

Peter DiFiore currently holds the position of Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, where responsibilities include overseeing Insurance-Linked Strategies since November 2018. Simultaneously, Peter serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington since October 2019. Prior experience includes a tenure at Cartesian Capital Group, LLC, and Cartesian Re Management Co. from February 2011 to October 2018, in roles including Associate and Managing Director. Peter's background also features a consultancy role at Risk Management Solutions, specializing in the structuring and risk analysis of insurance-linked securities from October 2008 to February 2011. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MA in Geosciences from Princeton University, where Peter was also involved as an Assistant in Research and Instruction from August 2003 to April 2010, along with a BS in Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
