Taylor Darnell

Taylor Darnell is currently a PhD student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this, Taylor worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from June 2020 to April 2024 and as a Researcher for the Appalachian College Association, Inc. from April 2018 to June 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Technician at Ferrum College from January 2018 to June 2020 and as a Pool Manager at USA Management between May 2017 and October 2017, focusing on community safety at Reynolds Park Pool. Earlier roles include serving as a Senior Lifeguard for the City of Winston-Salem from May 2014 to March 2017. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Florida and a degree in Chemistry and Biology with studies in Business, Management, and Marketing from Ferrum College, completed in 2020.
