Jim Arnold

Assistant Chief Instructor at UND Aerospace Foundation

Jim Arnold currently serves as the Assistant Chief Pilot at Pinnacle Aviation since May 2022 and as the Assistant Chief Instructor at UND Aerospace Foundation since May 2015, where responsibilities also include instructing on King Air and serving as adjunct faculty for high performance aircraft and airline operations. Previously, Jim Arnold worked as a First Officer on the MD83 at Falcon Air and as a Senior Flight Instructor at UND Aerospace. Early career experience includes roles at Mesa Airlines as a Dash8-200 First Officer and at Marvell as Sr. Cellular Validation Manager, overseeing cellular systems validation and a large team. Jim Arnold’s extensive tenure at Intel Corporation included positions as Platform Validation Manager, Factory Yield Manager, and Microprocessor Design Engineer, culminating in over two decades of experience in engineering and aviation. Jim Arnold holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
