Cathal Hughes

Cathal Hughes is a seasoned professional in the climate technology sector, currently serving as the Manager of ClimateTech Start-Ups at Undaunted since January 2023. Prior to this role, Cathal held the position of Project Manager at Launchpad, an investment unit focused on scaling disruptive energy start-ups, from December 2019 to November 2022. At Launchpad, responsibilities included acting as an Investment Associate, facilitating growth capital and strategic support for portfolio companies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Analyst at Enterprise Ireland from September 2017 to September 2019, where Cathal managed a client portfolio of early-stage start-ups and SMEs within the cleantech sector. Cathal earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2017.
