Kris Hattori has a diverse work experience in various industries. They began their career as a Game Producer at Luckybird Games, where they were involved in game design, UI/UX, development, artwork, and sound design. During this time, one of their games, Equatia, received recognition and was used in Rocketship Charter Schools.

They then worked as a Project Manager at EdSurge, where they were responsible for filming, editing, and curating material for the company's YouTube channels. They also managed social media accounts and coordinated large-scale events.

In 2013, Kris joined Undefeated Inc. as an Ecommerce/Campaign Manager, overseeing collaborative campaigns with brands such as Beats By Dre, Nike, Adidas, and Asics. Kris Hattori attended the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Cinematic Arts: Critical Studies. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, Kris attended UC Irvine and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies.
