Roman Trukhin 🇺🇦

Roman Trukhin 🇺🇦 has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Roman is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at UnderDefense Cybersecurity since January 2023, where they ovoverseeechnical supervision, project delivery, team coordination, and client satisfaction. Prior to that, Roman worked as the Head of Delivery at the same company from January 2018 to March 2023, where they were responsible for delivering high-quality security projects and managing accounts.

Before joining UnderDefense Cybersecurity, Roman worked at SoftServe from 2016 to 2017, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Project Coordinator. Here, they gained experience in software development and project management.

Roman also served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2015 to 2016 as a Fire Direction Specialist and UAV Recon Operator of a self-propelled howitzer artillery battery. In this role, they carried out various responsibilities related to radio and wire communications, computer operation, and section position defense.

During their early career, Roman worked as a Software Engineer at SoftServe from 2011 to 2015, where they gained technical expertise in software development. Roman also served as the Head of Advertising Department at LLC "Broadcasting Ternopil" from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Photojournalist at Misto newspaper from 2004 to 2006 and as a Studio Engineer, Video Editor/Designer at TV4 from 2003 to 2005, where they were involved in video editing, audio and video engineering, and equipment maintenance.

Roman's educational background includes studying at Ternopil National Pedagogical University as a student from 1998 to 2003. Overall, their extensive work experience demonstrates their versatility and adaptability in various roles and industries.

Roman Trukhin attended the SofServe IT Academy (also known as SoftServe University) from 2010 to 2011, where they were a listener in the field of Web UI. Roman also obtained additional certifications, including the CIW JavaScript Specialist from CIWcertified in April 2016 and Adobe Photoshop CS5 from Brainbench in August 2012.
