Holger Schauer

Holger Schauer has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Holger is currently working as an Engineering Manager at understand.ai since July 2021. Previously, they served as a Software Engineering Team Leader at GE Healthcare IT from June 2016 to April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Architect at diva-e Netpioneer GmbH for a short period in 2016. From September 2011 to January 2016, they held the position of Head CLS Labs at CLS Communication. Before that, they worked at Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co.KG, where they served as a Team lead Web Development Portal Solutions from April 2010 to July 2011 and as a Project Manager Electronic Publishing from April 2008 to March 2010. Their earliest role was as a Project Manager Language Technology at Brockhaus Duden Neue Medien GmbH from May 2002 to March 2008.

Holger Schauer completed their education in the field of Computer Science (Informatik). From 1990 to 1998, they attended the University of Koblenz and Landau, where they obtained a Diplom degree. Later, from 1998 to 2002, they furthered their education at The University of Freiburg, earning a Dr.rer.nat degree. In addition to their academic qualifications, Holger Schauer also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance, and in 2015, they achieved the Certified Professional for Software Architecture (F-Level) certification from iSAQB. Furthermore, they also hold a doctorate degree in Computer Science from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany, as evidenced by the additional certification of "Dr. rer. nat" obtained in 2003.
