Bryan Dow

Co-founder at Understory

Bryan Dow has a diverse work experience. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Neschen Americas, where they updated component drawings and technical documents to coincide with engineering changes, used Solidworks to analyze machine assemblies, and designed components to enable a cost-savings project. In 2012, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting tests involving point field sensors and fabricating test fixtures and external conductor arrangements. Bryan also interned at Fuji Electric in 2012, performing thermal and EM analysis on power semiconductor modules and collaborating with key personnel to advance current sensing research. Finally, in 2012, they co-founded Understory, Inc., designing and manufacturing weather stations that can be deployed into cost-effective micro-grids.

Bryan Dow attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
