John Dickson

John Dickson is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in product design and engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Vence Corp since June 2021, John has also contributed to Underwater Kinetics as a Mechanical Engineer since August 2015, focusing on injection molded parts for hazardous locations and diving. Previous roles include Electromechanical Engineer at Trout Green Technologies, where John was the Principal Investigator on military projects, and Sr. Applications Engineer at Chatsworth Products, specializing in custom product design for datacom customers. John has extensive experience in military electronics and rugged product design from positions at Curtiss Wright Controls and VMETRO. Beginning a career in reliability engineering at Clockwork Solutions and data science at NeuroCorp, John holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
