Alun Smith

Alun Smith is an experienced QA Analyst currently working at UnderwriteMe since November 2021, contributing to technology solutions for the Life Insurance industry by performing typical QA responsibilities and collaborating with customer representatives and global teams. Prior to UnderwriteMe, Alun held roles including Consultant Test Analyst at Broadridge Financial Solutions, QA Analyst III at CME Group, and Senior QA Test Analyst at ION Trading and Patsystems. Early in the career, Alun gained trading experience as a self-employed futures trader and in various capacities on the LIFFE trading floor. Alun holds a degree in Integrated Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
