Fabienne Fernandez

Fabienne Fernandez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Their most recent position is as the Chief Financial Officer at UnderwriteMe, where they have been since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Finance (Europe, Asia, Australia) at the same company from September 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining UnderwriteMe, Fabienne worked as the Managing Director at FF FINANCE LTD from September 2016 to September 2021. During this time, they gained valuable experience in financial management.

Fabienne also held positions at Pension Insurance Corporation as part of the IFRS 17 Programme from January 2021 to April 2021, and at Prudential UK as Finance Change Lead from April 2019 to September 2020. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Accounting Production, overseeing management, statutory, and regulatory reporting at Prudential UK from July 2018 to April 2019.

Their previous roles include Head of Finance Improvement Programme and Head of Financial Reporting at Bupa Global from June 2017 to February 2018 and September 2016 to February 2018, respectively.

Fabienne's earlier experience includes serving as Finance Director at Finance Director from March 2015 to August 2016, Finance Director at Domestic & General from January 2010 to February 2015, Controller at EADS CASA ESPACIO from December 2008 to December 2009, Financial Controller at Unitronics from April 2008 to December 2008, and auditor at Deloitte from September 2006 to December 2008.

Fabienne Fernandez began their education by pursuing a DUT GEA (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie Gestion des Entreprises et des Administrations) degree from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III. Fabienne studied administration, finance, accounting, and marketing during the years 2001 to 2003. Following this, they attended London South Bank University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on strategy and administration. In 2005, Fabienne enrolled at SKEMA Business School, where they completed a degree in Sup de Co, specializing in finance and management in 2006.
