Mauricio Rosales Romero

Mauricio Rosales Romero has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mauricio is currently working as a Business Intelligence Manager at UnDosTres, where they are responsible for automating reports, managing data, conducting cohort analysis, and developing methodologies for calculating the lifetime value of users.

Before joining UnDosTres, Mauricio was self-employed as an Entrepreneur from 2019 onwards.

Prior to that, they worked at AXA as a Senior Actuary for ten years, from 2008 to 2018. In this role, Mauricio provided a second opinion on auto reinsurance contracts for property, medical, and life insurance. Mauricio was also responsible for risk transfer studies for non-proportional reinsurance contracts and ensuring the quality of information for catastrophic risks.

Before joining AXA, Mauricio worked at PRUDENTIAL SEGUROS MEXICO as a Senior Actuary from 2007 to 2008. In this role, they were responsible for technical areas, valuation of reserves under statutory and US-GAAP principles, and generating statutory reports for the Mexican National Insurance and Surety Commission.

Mauricio's early career includes a role as an Actuarial Specialist at ING Pensiones Mexico from 2000 to 2007. In this position, they conducted reserve valuations for pension plans, generated statutory reports, and updated programs used for reserve valuations.

Mauricio Rosales Romero completed their education in a chronological order. From 1995 to 2000, they attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and obtained a degree in Actuarial Science with a focus on Financial Economics and Actuarial Studies. In 2019, they obtained a certification as an insurance agent, known as Cedula C, from the Comisión Nacional de Seguros y Fianzas. More recently, from 2020 to 2021, Mauricio pursued an Especialización en Estadística Aplicada (Specialization in Applied Statistics) at UNAM IIMAS, focusing on Mathematics and Statistics as their field of study.
