Aboubacar Toure

Aboubacar TOURE currently serves as the Head of Program Risks Management Team at UNDP, where responsibilities include overseeing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation related to programs and projects. TOURE also holds the position of Director of Administration and Management Services at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), focusing on the promotion of renewable energy and sustainable development. Previous to these roles, TOURE worked for UNDP in various senior operational capacities from 2004 to 2021, contributing extensive experience in administration and program management. Early career experience includes positions at IBM and SKEDA Consulting West Africa, demonstrating a strong background in ICT management and business consulting. TOURE holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School and a Global Executive MBA from IFG Executive Education, along with a diploma in computer and information technology from Université Henri Poincaré Nancy in France.
