Corli Pretorius

Corli Pretorius currently serves as the Head of the Policy, Knowledge and Partnerships Team at UNDP, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Corli was the Deputy Director at the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) from April 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included advising on strategic management, developing new project areas, and maintaining key partnerships. Corli's experience at UNEP included roles as Senior Programme Officer and Executive Assistant from March 2010 to March 2016. Earlier positions include General Manager at Newcon Investments, Head of Communication and Special Assistant to the DG at IUCN, and Researcher at Afrosearch. Corli holds an M.Sc in Agricultural Economics from Stellenbosch University and a Diploma in Agricultural Development from Ghent University.
