Douglas Webb

Douglas Webb currently serves as the Resident Representative at UNDP and as a Global Health and Environment Advisor, focusing on the intersections of health, pollution, climate change, and environmental degradation. From January 2012 to February 2023, Webb was a Cluster Leader in the HIV Health and Development Group at UNDP New York, where responsibilities included policy development on social determinants of health and serving as a focal point on non-communicable diseases. Prior experience includes roles at UNICEF, where Webb was the Chief of Adolescent Development, Child Protection, and HIV in Ethiopia, and served as a Children and AIDS advisor in Eastern and Southern Africa. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Human Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
