Josip Ivanovic

Josip Ivanovic is an experienced professional in the fields of human rights, youth engagement, and community development. Currently serving as an Information Integrity and Youth Engagement Specialist at the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub since November 2023, Josip previously held the position of Senior Communities Adviser at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo from April 2019 to November 2023, where responsibilities included developing methodologies for community rights monitoring. Josip has also contributed to the United Nations Mission in Kosovo as a Civil Affairs Officer from March 2017 to April 2019, focusing on fostering trust between communities. Other roles include Data Centre Technician, Booking Manager & Front Desk Agent, and Head of Programme at the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Croatia. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Philosophy, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Social Philosophy, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, all from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb from 2006 to 2016.
